The work includes to provide construction services for the Repair Base Communications Facility, 1540 at Davis-Monthan AFB,Arizona. The work includes repair/replace HVAC to entire 50,000 sf facility 1540 including the EMCS system; structural scope includes detail exterior screen wall enclosures for HVAC equipment, equipment pads, seismic restraint for mechanical and electrical equipment and wall penetration support as required by mechanical and electrical scopes; electrical scope includes power support for HVAC equipment, EMCS HVAC support and modifications to lightning protection system as required by HVAC equipment; modification of Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm systems to accommodate insulation placement and new HVAC system; provide building envelope improvements repair/replace ceiling insulation throughout facility; provide Asbestos Containing Material (ACM) and Lead Based Paint (LBP) abatement as per drawings; and provide Phasing Plan because the facility will be occupied during construction and incidental related work.
