The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs. INTRODUCTION: This is the initial step in the planning process for Kashiyama NeoDry products for Air Cooled Multi Roots Dry Pump. AFRL/RVKY at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources to The AIM program by allowing the plasma chemistry lab to perform experimental plasma chemistry. The Air Cooled Multi Roots Dry Pump will be used to create the experimental conditions required for measuring reaction kinetics and products of plasma chemistry processes as they relate to the ionosphere, re-entry, combustion, solar fuels, and high energy materials. Specifically, the dry pumps will be used to create initial low pressure conditions from atmospheric pressure. The Air Force reserves the right to consider a small business set-aside for any subsequent acquisition based upon responses to this notice. Small business respondents should provide a statement of capabilities to assist the Air Force in making a set-aside decision.
