The intent of this notice is to notify potential offerors that the 377th Mission Support Group Contracting Division (377 MSG/PK) intends to issue solicitation FA9401-25-B-0008. This announcement serves as the advance notice for this requirement. Responses to this synopsis are not required. Description of Requirement: This project involves the design and construction services to repair the roof of Building 0001 at Kirtland Air Force Base, located at 3825 Edith Blvd, Albuquerque. The primary objective is to upgrade the existing roof to meet Kirtland AFB standards, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance. This project will follow a Design/Build (D/B) Statement of Work (SOW), necessitating collaboration between the General Contractor and licensed design professionals. Successfully completing this project will significantly enhance both the roofing integrity and operational capabilities of Building 0001 at Kirtland AFB. Please refer to the SOW for more details. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 238160 - "Roofing Contractors". NAICS Code 238160 has a Size Standard of $19M. The PSC Code for this effort is Z2JZ - " Repair or Alteration of Miscellaneous Buildings". 377 MSG/PK anticipates a firm-fixed price contract. The acquisition will follow procedures set forth in FAR Part 14 “Sealed Bidding.” Bidders must ensure compliance with all solicitation requirements, as non-compliance may lead to disqualification. As outlined by FAR 36.204, the anticipated magnitude for this effort is $1,000,000 – $5,000,000. The solicitation, as well as all notices and amendments, will be posted to the Government Point of Entry located at https://sam.gov on or around 18 August 2025. The closing date, time for submission of offers, as well as the date and time for a site visit will be contained in the solicitation package. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this procurement for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. All notifications and amendments will be disseminated in the same manner as the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) or their proposal will not be considered.
