The purpose of this combined synopsis and solicitation is for the removal of exiting paint and repainting of a static aircraft display in accordance with the Statement of Work. Note: The USG will not be supplying any paint/depaint facilities or equipment. Only two aircraft require the depaint/paint service. Aircraft are on display stands and cannot be removed/moved. Thus they will not be housed in a paint hanger. The contractor will be responsible for handling and disposing of any hazardous waste. Disposal cannot go though the Corrosion shop as the waist streams are very septic on the type of waste, nor can their accumulation point handle additional waste load.
