Amendment 2 - provides an extension to the due date from 21 May to 4 June 2021. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Description of Services: Local Area Telecommunications Services for Kirtland AFB, NM Place of Performance: Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico Description: (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared In Accordance With (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 “Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items,” as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii)This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) IAW FAR Parts 12 “Acquisition of Commercial Items” and 13 “Simplified Acquisition Procedures” (SAP). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-05. (iv) Services shall be provided IAW the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS). (v) The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract with a base period of performance of one year, four one- year option periods, and an optional six month extension period. (vi) A site visit is scheduled for 27 April 2021, 0900-1200. IAW FAR 52.231-1 Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Vendors wishing to participate in the site visit must request a “Short Term Pre-Notification Form” for base access by emailing the POCs listed below. Requests need to be received by 12:00 p.m. MDT 20 APR 2021. Each vendor is limited to two (2) attendees and each individual attendee must complete the “Short Term Pre-Notification Form”. Completed forms should be submitted by 12:00 p.m. MDT 21 APR 2021. (vii) Offerors shall submit all questions relating to the solicitation to both POCs listed below. The questions shall be submitted only on the Attach 5, Q&A Spreadsheet. Questions about this RFQ shall be received NLT 3:00 p.m. MDT 30 APR 2021. The Government may not provide a response to questions received after the above dates or to persons other than the POCs listed below.
