This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). This notice is not to be construed as a commitment, implied or otherwise by the Government, to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential sources capable of performing the effort described herein pursuant to FAR part 10, Market Research and FAR part 19, Small Business Programs. This is for planning purposes only. Any information submitted by respondents to this Source Sought Notice is voluntary. The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents should not construe this notice as a commitment by the Air Force for any purpose, and should refrain from providing proprietary information in the response. INTRODUCTION: The 377th Mission Support Group at Kirtland Air Force Base seeks sources to provide laundering services to Kirtland AFB Lodging, the 377th Medical Group (MDG), and two Child Development Centers (CDC). The 377th anticipates conducting a competitive acquisition for this effort. The effort is expected to result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The NAICS code is anticipated to be 812320, size standard $6,000,000.00. Refer to the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) for additional details regarding the subject requirement. INSTRUCTIONS: All interested businesses capable demonstrating the ability to meet the draft PWS are invited to respond electronically with Statement of Capabilities (SOCs). Do NOT merely reiterate the objectives or reformulate the requirements specified in the attached draft Performance Work Statement. Do NOT include any marketing material in the capabilities statement. Responses shall include company name, address, DUNS number, CAGE code, point of contact with email address and telephone number, and indicate business size using NAICS code 812320, size standard $6,000,000.00. Responses shall also include answers to the following questions: Where is your company located? If it is not in Albuquerque, how do you plan to provide services? Are you able to provide service for both high-volumes of linens (75+ lbs.) and low-volumes of linens (20 lbs. or less)? Does your company hold OSHA certifications? A DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided. What questions or comments regarding the PWS does your company have? Please pay special attention to the following sections of the PWS PWS 1.4, providing laundry tickets when items are delivered. PWS 1.8, items identified by government as unsatisfactorily laundered will be rewarshed at no additional cost. PWS 2, the specific requirements as to how linen will be wrapped for delivery, and that each bundle must be labeled with a description and quantity. PWS 3.1, delivery item and schedule SOCs are limited to 3 pages, using Times Roman 12 Font in word searchable format. The SOC should demonstrate capability to provide the requirements as identified in the draft PWS. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov.
