Requirement for a Contractor to remove and dispose of existing lead-acid batteries and purchase and install new sodium nickel battery strings for two communication buildings 30158. Provide Ethernet remote monitoring capabilities. The end goal of this installation is to have back-up battery capabilities in these facilities in the event of electrical power failure. Currently, if this requirement is not met and a electrical failure occurs then a catastrophic communication equipment failure will take place causing total communication mission failure to base entities that these facilities support.
