Question from a Vendor: wondering if we could change the color code on all the M27500 cables to white with the color listed as a stripe. Answer: this is OK if the orange stripe is one third of the color on the jacket. This would make the white cable with a large stripe that is easy to see. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, see attached request for quote (RFQ). The Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR 13) will be used for this requirement. Solicitation Number: FA930223Q0043 **Please provide the full solicitation number on all packages** Interested parties capable of meeting all the requirements for the items described in this synopsis are invited to submit, in writing, a complete quote including delivery FOB Destination Edwards AFB CA 93524. Offerors are required to submit their quote with enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this combined synopsis/solicitation, including CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and date offer expires. Contractors must review and/or fill out the attachments as applicable to Solicitation # FA930223Q0043 listed as follows: Attachment 1 – Solicitation SF1449 includes the Wire and Cable Specifications (Section C); the BPA Terms and Conditions (Section H); Clauses and Provisions; Attachment 2 – Pricing (Spreadsheet) for the Wire and Cable products – complete as much as you on this based on what is presented; and Attachment 3 – Statement of Work. This will fulfill the RFQ for this combined synopsis/solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (https://www.sam.gov) prior to award. Award shall not be delayed due to expired, or non-registered entities in SAM.gov. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2023-04, DPN 20230720, and DAFAC 2023-0707. THIS REQUIREMENT WILL BE: 100% Small Business Set-Aside The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number for this acquisition is 331420 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. Description: The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Edwards Air Force Base (EAFB), CA has a requirement to provide Wire and Cable products to end users within the 412th MXG entities. Please see Statement of Work Attachment 1. Place of delivery and acceptance is FOB Destination, Edwards AFB, CA 93524. Any/all delivery charges must be included in the quote for FOB Destination. Award to the selected vendors will be based on: Quality/Accuracy of wires to be provided, Lead Time capability, and Pricing. Period of Performance (POP) is anticipated to be five years from date of award. The Government reserves the right to issue one (1) or more Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) as a result of this solicitation.
