The work consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision required for the removal of eight existing ducting eye brows, installation of man bars at each location, installation of new Z duct at each location, re-attach existing eye brows to new ducting, seal all ducting and support as needed in buildings on ramp 11 located at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Installation: 1. Install new man bars at the penetration of the building. 2. Install the Z duct (2 back to back 90deg elbows) in a manner which it will not allow line of site into the Hangar area. 3. Reinstall existing eye brow onto Z duct. 4. Support all ducting as necessary to withstand 110mph winds. 5. Seal all ducting. Please see attached Statement of Work (SOW) for more details. A Site Visit- is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED and will help to ensure that the quote is technically acceptable. All vendors interested in participation site visit must send an email to the contracting officer Shelley White at shelley.white.2@us.af.mil by Friday June 03, 2022 1:00PM PST. The anticipated date of site visit will be Tuesday June 7, 2022 at 0930 hrs. All questions before, or during site visit must be submitted in writing via email to the contracting officer, in order to have them answered and posted on SAM.gov. All questions need to be submitted by 14 June, 2022 4:00PM PST.
