Failure to provide enough information will result in a determination that the quote is unresponsive to the solicitation. To be found technically acceptable, the quote must demonstrate the contractor's ability to meet the requirements of the SOW through Past Performance. In addition, the Program Manager will evaluate quotes to determine technical acceptability. It is on a pass/fail basis. If a quote fails, it will be deemed not technically acceptable. Price: Among those offerors deemed technically acceptable, the lowest-priced offer is selected. All offers will be evaluated based on their proposed total price. Only one award will be made under this solicitation. Technical and past performance, when combined, are more important than price. As part of its market research, on behalf of its mission partner, is issuing this Sources Sought to determine if there exists an adequate number of interested and qualified contractors capable of performing the requirement as further described. The Government may use the responses to this Sources Sought for information and planning purposes. The technical specifications describe only the currently contemplated possible specifications and may vary from the actual specifications identified in final Statement of Work (SOW) for Balance and Calibration Services to determine is any Small Businesses can meet the Governments need to inspect for serviceability and calibrate two each GILMAN/GISHOLT BALANCE machines specified in the SOW, and likewise if any Small Businesses intend on competing for this future award. Our intent is to award to Small Business., however we have yet to determine if there are any small businesses under the subject NAICS which would be interested in competing for this award. This Sources Sought is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of market research. Please note that this is a draft SOW and is subject to change.
