AFTC/PK, Edwards AFB will provide a copy of the site visit PowerPoint briefing in addition to relevant drawings and photographs by 19 March 2020 Close of Business (COB) to assist in proposal preparation regarding the seed project. Any questions regarding the seed project or solicitation are due by 23 March 2020 COB. Proposal response date of 10 April 2020 12:00 PM remains unchanged. Contractors interested to propose shall be able to provide all management, labor, material, equipment, transportation, supervision and minimal designs to accomplish numerous, concurrent projects for a broad range of maintenance, repair and minor construction work at Edwards AFB (EAFB), Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL), NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center (AFRC) at both the Edwards Site and leased facilities in Palmdale, California (CA) , and Air Force owned/operated facilities located at Plant 42 in Palmdale, California (CA). The base encompasses over 308,000 acres, and 3,064 facilities containing 8,879,854 SF, with projects varying tremendously in complexity and nature. The size and diversity of EAFB necessitates expeditious response and efficient management of the heavy volume of task orders placed against the SABER contract. Facilities include, but are not limited to, research and development, hospital, secure areas, airfields, flight line, infrastructure, administrative, pavements, industrial, etc. The minimum guarantee for the resulting contract is $10,000.00. The maximum aggregate amount of the SABER IDIQ shall not exceed $55,000,000.00. Schedule of Pre-Performance Conference: - A pre-proposal conference will be held on 18 March 2020 at 0900. The conference will be held in the Multi Media Theater located in Building 1405. A site visit for the Seed Project at Bldg. 1212 will also be conducted during the pre-proposal conference. All offerors who anticipate attending the conference shall furnish a completed copy of the Visitor’s Authorization List (VAL) attachment to the POC, Mr. Maximiliano Oropeza, via e-mail at maximiliano.oropeza@us.af.mil no later than 13 March 2020 at 1600 hours. NO EXCEPTIONS. Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply. A record of the conference shall be made and furnished to all prospective bidders/offerors. The record should include minutes of the meeting, including questions (on a non-attribution basis) and answers. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package.
