Bottle Field Assessment
The government is soliciting offers for a commercial service, reserving the right to reject or cancel any award. The work involves a comprehensive engineering assessment of nineteen high-pressure gaseous nitrogen storage vessels at the Arnold Engineering Development Complex Hypervelocity Wind Tunnel 9 in White Oak, Maryland. The contractor will perform a multi-phased assessment including data collection, non-destructive examination planning and execution, finite element analysis, and minimum design metal temperature evaluation. All analysis must comply with API 579 / ASME FFS-1 standards for vessels operating at or above 10,000 psig. Full requirements are specified in the attached Statement of Work.
