Glendale DR. New Berlin, WI, 53151-2840 (cage code 8TF40), to award a single, firm-fixed price purchase order to meet the Government’s requirement for Load Commutated Inverter (LCI) 3 DC Reactor Replacement Project at Arnold Air Force Base, TN. As authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). As determined by the Contracting Officer, ABB is the only reasonably available source that has the capability to replace the current LCI 3 DC Reactor located on Arnold AFB. The anticipated North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 334419, Other Electronic Component Manufacturing, with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the Government will consider all responses received electronically by 3:00 PM CST, 9 May 2024. A determination by the Government to not compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The information received may only be considered to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
