Please note: the HAPCAT facility is located at Northrop Grumman's site in Ronkonkoma, NY. ************************************************************************************************* Please see attached synopsis of proposed contract action. The proposed contract action is for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) requirement for the development, analysis, and demonstration of a capability for using additive manufacturing (AM) to create advanced hypersonic test facility components and test articles for the HAPCAT facility and other relevant Department of Defense (DoD) test facilities. The result of this effort will be a validated AM capability to support hypersonic ground testing. Full performance requirements may be found in Attachment 1 – Draft Performance Work Statement. Work will be conducted at the HAPCAT facility located in Ronkonkoma, NY. Performance completion dates will be determined at the task order level. The Government plans to solicit and award one (1) sole source, firm-fixed-priced (FFP) requirements contract, not to exceed $9,800,000 over a five (5) year ordering period to Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation, 55 Thiokol RD Elkton, Maryland 21921. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
