THIS NOTICE SEEKS INFORMATION ON COMMERCIAL ITEMS. Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold AFB, TN is seeking sources capable of providing a metrology grade portable blue light optical coordinate measuring machine (CMM) that provides measurement accuracy for reverse engineering, quality control, and non- destructive testing. The system shall be free of any rigid measurement setup and able to be moved at any time during the measurement sequence. The system is intended for small and large scale applications. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement, if a requirement materializes. Based on the responses in regard to this Sources Sought notice / market research, the requirement may result in a single source acquisition, may be set-aside for small businesses (in full or in part), or may be procured through full and open competition.
