The Government intends to negotiate with only one source, Toptica Photonics Inc., for the procurement of one, HighFinesse Wavelength Meter, Model WS7-30, to include the Linewidth Estimation option, under the authority, 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), which states for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold, Contracting Officers may solicit from one source if the Contracting Officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available. As confirmed through the Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) website, HighFinesse, Toptica Photonics Inc., a small business, is the only authorized US-based distributor of the HighFinesse Wavelength Meter. This is not a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The resultant contract action will be firm-fixed price. Verbal requests will not be acted upon. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516.
