The purpose of this solicitation is to procure Tunnel E Crane Upgrade to be performed IAW Attachment 1 – Tunnel E Crane Specifications. The Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) at Arnold Air Force Base (AFB) located in Tennessee anticipates the use of a firm-fixed price purchase order with a period of performance (PoP) of 11 weeks after receipt of order (WARO) for the procurement of a motorized 10 ton overhead crane. The Government anticipates awarding the acquisition to one vendor that is both capable of providing the required product IAW Attachment 1 – Tunnel E Crane Specifications. For this acquisition, competition has been limited due to the specific need of a brand name crane. A brand name is required for this acquisition in order to keep maintenance costs and training costs to a minimum.
