The Air Force Test Center’s Installation Contracting Division (AFTC/PZI) at Arnold Air Force Base (AFB) is seeking sources for a turnkey solution to replace the existing Continuous Wave (CW) X?Ray Model Detection System currently housed in the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) Hypervelocity Aeroballistics Ranges Facilities with a new CW X?Ray Model Detection System. The mission of the AEDC Hypervelocity Aeroballistics Ranges Facilities is to conduct developmental test and evaluation fly?out and impact capabilities of highspeed vehicles in a ground test facility that provides a simulated environment representative of the conditions experienced in operational environments. The Ranges CW X?Ray Model Detection System is a critical system for operations at the Ranges Test Facilities. The hardware for the existing CW X?Ray System is obsolete, and replacement parts are not available. Therefore, a replacement of the existing CW X?Ray system is required. This is a Sources Sought Notice to determine the availability and technical capability of small and large businesses to meet the Government’s requirement for a turnkey solution to replace the existing CW X?Ray Model Detection System IAW the DRAFT Statement of Objectives (SOO) and its DRAFT Performance Parameters (see Attachments 1 and 2).
