The 772nd Enterprise Sourcing Squadron is pursuing a Progressive Design-Build project to renovate existing military working dog facilities and construct a new addition at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. The selected contractor will perform both progressive design and physical construction to deliver a fully functional, code-compliant compound, with two lines of effort: Design & Planning and Physical Construction. Existing kennel and administrative buildings fail quarterly inspections and contain critical safety hazards, so the PDB approach is intended to avoid traditional design-bid-build delays and rapidly deliver compliant spaces for the 30th Space Wing mission. The resulting agreement will be an Other Transaction Agreement executed under 10 U.S.C. § 2808a and will follow the MACH1 umbrella program procedures.
