The Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Business Enterprise Systems (BES) Directorate, Logistic Systems (GBQ), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Capabilities Support Office (CSO), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio is conducting market research seeking vendor interest for Siemens Teamcenter (TC) Software for Product Lifecycle Management. The DAF currently uses Siemen's Teamcenter as its Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data management platform and has been deployed as a system of record to integrate and interoperate with Headquarters Air Force (HAF)/A4 post-Expeditionary Combat Support System (ECSS) capabilities. Therefore, the AF is requesting information from sources on their capability to support the Teamcenter PLM system of choice. The purpose of this Sources Sought is twofold: 1) to gather information about the market interest of potential suppliers of Siemens TC software relative to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) capabilities, on providing perpetual license/maintenance and sustainment support, subscription services, or other available software license, maintenance, subscription support such as a hybrid, re-mix, or combination of other available options, and 2) The Government currently owns over 40K existing inactive perpetual Teamcenter software licenses. The Government is looking for options to leverage existing licenses to obtain value such as credit, trade-ins, discounts, etc. for purposes of reactivations of inactive licenses to current licenses; trade-in of inactive license for new licenses of the same or different licenses; transfers/transition from perpetual licenses to subscription or other form of license support, etc. to support the Government’s agile mission requirements.
