The U.S. Air Force is seeking industry feedback to address challenges in fully integrating its enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system, which uses Siemens Teamcenter hosted in a secure cloud environment. The current system faces fragmented legacy systems, data silos, and inconsistent processes, leading to inefficiencies and delayed decision-making. This RFI aims to gather technical approaches and innovative solutions for enhancing the PLM capability while maintaining strict security and compliance. Vendor responses will inform acquisition strategies and help refine requirements for future procurements. The overarching goal is to establish an authoritative source of truth for product data and improve total lifecycle management for Air Force weapon systems.
