This is a sources-sought/RFI for six APC uninterruptible power supply (UPS) units to replace end-of-life APC/Schneider units at the Rome Research Site, NY. The units range from 15 to 40 kVA, and interested vendors must demonstrate certified OEM status, state their business size, and provide preliminary market research pricing for all six units. Replacement units must be APC-specific to minimize wiring changes and enable a very short cutover outage, with no third-party vendors accepted; government electricians will install the units, while APC or a certified OEM must certify and start them up. Contractor employees requiring access to USAF bases, AFRL facilities, or U.S. government IT networks must be U.S. citizens, with limited exceptions. Responses are voluntary and used only to assess adequate competition, with no commitment by the government to issue a future request or pay for response costs.
