The Boeing Co., Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has been awarded a $99,900,000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the Airborne Warning and Control System Block 40/45 full rate production completion. This contract provides for the continued acquisition of supplies and services associated with the production of the E-3 AWACS Block 40/45 upgrade. Work will be performed at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma and is expected to be completed by fiscal year 2024. This award is the result of a sole-source acquisition based on the findings in the attached Justification and Approval (J&A) for other than Full and Open Competition. Fiscal year 2018 and 2019 aircraft procurement funds in the amount of $42,200,000 are being obligated at the time of award. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts, 01731 is the contracting activity (FA8730-20-C-0023).
