A Mobile Air Traffic Surveillance System (MATSS) provides an Air Traffic Control (ATC) capability integrated with a Counter-small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) and Battle Management Command and Control (BMC2) capability. The entire system must fit on a single C-130. The MATSS must be capable of interfacing to a variety of short- and long-range sensors and sensor networks. These include AF, Joint, Allied, and ATC radars directly or via a sensor network/grid for tactical operations, as well as Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) and weather data service networks and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Airspace System (NAS) Enterprise Security Gateway (NESG) within the NAS.
