IAW FAR 5.203(a), this posting serves as notice that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, the Raytheon Company, 1001 Boston Post Road, Marlborough Ma 01752-3770 (hereafter referred to as "Raytheon"), under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)). Specifically, AFLCMC/HBAK intends to modify contract number FA8730-08-D-0001 (i.e. Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) ID/IQ contract), awarded 30 September 2008, with Raytheon. Currently, the ordering period has ended on 30 Sep 18, and the performance of period ends on 30 Sep 2020. The contract with Raytheon is intended to be modified to extend the end of the ordering period from 30 September 2018 to 31 March 2020. The performance period will remain unchanged at 30 September 2020. The total amount obligated to date is approximately $356,000,000 and the maximum contract amount allowed will remain unchanged at $679,000,000. The contract types include Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Time and Materials (T&M), Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), and will remain unchanged. This notice neither constitutes a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) nor an Invitation for Bid (IFB), nor does it restrict the Government in any way to an ultimate acquisition approach. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL, AND IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. An AFLCMC Ombudsman has been appointed to consider and facilitate the resolution of concerns from offers, potential offers, and other for this acquisition. Before consulting the Ombudsman concerned parties should address their concerns, issues, disagreements and /or recommendation to the Contracting Officer for resolution. In addition, AFFARS 5352.201-9101, Ombudsman, will be included in this acquisition's contract. The AFLCMC Ombudsman is Lt.
