The Department of Defense, United States Air Force (USAF), Air Force Material Command (AFMC), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Armament Directorate, Long Range Systems Division (AFLCMC/EBJ), Eglin AFB, FL intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to L3Harris Telemetry & RF Products, Bristol, PA 19007-1506, CAGE Code: 13923, for Encryption Equipment. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which permits other than full and open competition for this acquisition is implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b). It is the Government's intent to proceed with this sole-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 334220. The size standard as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration is 1250 employees. Anticipated award date is 25 October 2019. The requirements will consist of - CLIN 0001 KGR-135A, MFR: L3Harris Telemetry & RF Products, PN: 33040010-501, 8 ea. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposal action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interest of the Government. All responses received by 1200 pm CST on 11 October 2019 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the items required, and shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Responses must be in writing and must provide clear and concise documentation indicating an offeror's capability to provide an NSA certified, COMSEC telemetry decryption device suitable for use in a telemetry ground receiving station, capable of decrypting synchronous serial data at rates from 10 Kbps to 50+ Mbps, designed around the KGV-135A key generator device and cryptographically compatible with the KGV-135A.
