BLU-136/B Next Generation Area Attack - Production: This notice serves as the solicitation for the BLU-136/B Next Generation Area Attack Warhead - Production. The Direct Attack Munitions Branch (AFLCMC/EBDA), Direct Attack Division (AFLCMC/EBD), Armament Directorate (AFLCMC/EB), Eglin AFB, FL, plans to award a firm-fixed price multiple award Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract for the production of the BLU-136/B area attack warhead. The manufacturing of the warhead case and all components shall be in accordance with the Government-owned and provided Technical Data Package (TDP). The TDP will only be provided to those contractors that are registered and active in the Joint Certification Program (JCP) through the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). The Request for Proposal (RFP) contains instructions for requesting the TDP and all information that is required in the request. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside procurement. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332993 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The Government anticipates awarding two (2) or more contracts utilizing The Department of Defense Source Selection Procedures. The Government will not provide a hard copy of the RFP. It must be downloaded from FedBizOpps. Any future information pertaining to this requirement will be posted on the FedBizOpps website. Interested parties should monitor the FedBizOpps website for changes or amendments to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be eligible for award and must remain registered throughout the life of the contract. It is highly advised that if you wish to participate in this effort that your DD Form 2345 be updated and filed to reflect current personnel, etc.. 2. Pay special attention to the deadline dates identified in Attachment 4 and Attachment 8, as it pertains to the requirements to request the TDP and notify the Government of Oral Presentations.
