Request for Information (RFI) for a Family of Affordable Mass Missiles – Beyond Adversary’s Reach (FAMM-BAR)
The Air Force is conducting market research for the Family of Affordable Mass Missiles (FAMM) program, now split into two separate requirements: FAMM-P (Palletized) and FAMM-L (Lugged). The immediate focus is exclusively on the FAMM-P BAR requirement, which seeks a single, common, air-to-surface munition for long-range strike from cargo aircraft, with an annual production expectation of 1,000–2,000 units over five years. Performance of services will be managed by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center at Eglin AFB, Florida. A Q&A document from the recent Industry Day is available upon request, and respondents may submit voluntary updates to their previous white papers based on the FAMM-P focus. No budget amounts are specified in this description.
