This is a Request for Information (RFI) notice only. This is a market survey being conducted by the Aerial Targets Program Office (AFLCMC/EBYA) of the Air Force Program Executive Office for Weapons (AFPEO/WP). Per Public Law, Title 10, U.S. Code 2366, new and improved weapon systems are required to demonstrate lethality prior to full rate production. The Aerial Targets mission is to provide target aircraft designed to replicate threat aircraft systems that emulate performance, signatures, and countermeasures of enemy aircraft. The intention of this RFI is to determine the existence of sources that have the capability to design, integrate, build, test and manufacture an affordable suite of aerial target solutions and payloads (radio frequency or RF emitters, electronic attack or Electronic Attack (EA) capabilities and expendables such as chaff and flares) capable of providing adequate fidelity presentations of advanced adversary aircraft for specific test scenarios. The Government encourages all responsible businesses, including small businesses to respond to this RFI; however, the Government is not liable for any costs incurred by any respondent to prepare and/or submit its response to this RFI.
