Johns Hopkins University (JHU) Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), Laurel, MD has been awarded a $49,673,419.00 Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) contract. JHU APL shall provide engineering, management, technical support, and operational expertise to the Integrated Capabilities Directorate for the improvement of architectures required by the United States Air Force and United States Space Force to accomplish their assigned missions. The primary location of performance is Laurel, MD. The work is expected to be complete by 7 September 2026. This award is the result of a sole source acquisition. Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Research and Development Funds in the total amount of $322,816.51 and FY 2023 Research and Development Funds in the total amount of $7,510,000.00 are being obligated at the time of award. AFRL/PZLDB, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433, FA8650-23-C-9302 is the contracting activity. There is no known congressional interest pertaining to this acquisition.
