The US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) has issued a sole source contract to Carasoft Technology Corporation (Google’s public sector distributor), for performance on FA8650-21-P-4116 to provide data architecture sprint services regarding courses of actions for data architecture needs. The acquisition will provide support to the Department of the Air Force/Chief Architecture Office. This contract has been awarded based on a Single Source Justification under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) “Soliciting from a single source.” In accordance with FAR 6.305 procedures, the Single Source Justification that allows for other than full and open competition and proceeding with this acquisition, is posted with this notice, within 30 days after contract award. This synopsis does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB) or a Request for Proposals (RFP) nor does it restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice nor will it reimburse firms for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice.
