This posting/synopsis notifies all contractors through synopsis of the governments intent to award a sole source contract to Textron Aviation Defense for training on the following items: AERONet The scope of this acquisition includes supplies and services needed for a successful AERONet system after lessons learned from CLAE. This effort includes the purchases of AT-6 AERONet system support, integration, and training. • Supplies required include hardware, software, Technical Orders (TOs), and drawings. • Services required include integration/installation/setup of AERONet into the AT-6 aircraft and in Thailand at RTAF locations, training for Pilots/Command & Control (C2) personnel/Server personnel/ Maintenance personnel, additional testing to include hardware ruggedization and operational flight testing after installation, airworthiness certification, and Contractor Subject Matter Expert (SME) support and reach back support. AT-6 Unique Parts This effort will also include procurement and delivery to Thailand of several AT-6 unique parts required by RTAF. • 16 Ejector Pylon/Rack Assembly • 20 External Fuel Tanks • 20 External Fuel Tank Umbilical Harness Assembly • 4 Pylon equipped with ejector rack unit (spare) • 12 AT-6 Travel Pods • 1 Engine Stand • 2 Mission Planning Station/Mission Debriefing Stations This effort will also include an Option CLIN for a list of three (3) aircraft ejection seat special tools and equipment. These items are specific to the ejection seats utilized in the T-6 trainer aircraft and AT-6 Wolverine. Both aircraft are manufactured by TA Defense. These special tool and equipment items are unique to only the T-6 and AT-6 aircraft ejection seats, and therefore, specific to the overall aircraft design. They are either designed, integrated and manufactured directly by TA Defense as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), or they are designed and manufactured by other sources but are modified to integrate into the overall aircraft design and are the only items listed as acceptable for use in aircraft technical publications. As such, these special items cannot be sourced anywhere other than from TA Defense.
