The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Special Warfare Program Office is conducting market research via this RFI to identify sources capable of providing the Next Generation Operational Control System (NGOCS), intended to fill a capability gap for a lightweight, ruggedized, modular body-worn power, data, and edge-compute architecture that offloads processing from the End User Device for high-demand tactical workloads. This is for informational and market-research purposes only, not a solicitation, and the Government will not reimburse response preparation costs. Interested parties should demonstrate they currently have the technology and qualifications, and provide company data, socio-economic status, ownership, and prime/subcontractor interest. Responses should also include ROM and potential development cost estimates for budget planning, commercial availability, existing contract information, Buy American/Berry Amendment compliance, risks, and small-business subcontracting/utilization details. Respondents must complete Attachments 1 and 2, mark proprietary information, keep responses to 35 pages, and note that U.S. and non-U.S. firms may respond and SAM registration is required for DoD award.
