The U.S. Air Force is conducting market research to identify sources capable of providing motors for Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts (CRRCs) to replace obsolete engines and hull designs that limit operational capabilities in rough seas. The current systems are nearing the end of their service life and no longer meet mission requirements, restricting operations in adverse weather and increasing risk. The goal is to find a replacement solution that restores full operational capability with a reliable and effective CRRC system for all environments.
