The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Fighters and Bombers Directorate, Development and Integration Division, AFLCMC/WWB, Universal Armament Interface (UAI) program will accomplish the class of contracting actions. This acquisition will be negotiated pursuant to FAR 6.302-l(a)(2)(ii), only one responsible source, requiring a Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition. The four OEM contractors: Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Gurmman, and Raytheon, are the only known sources, as demonstrated by the response to the Request for Information (RFI), with the technical capability to continue the development and enhancement of UAI without substantial duplication of cost to the government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. This is a follow-on requirement to continue the development of the UAI effort currently performed under the four Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) contracts FA8628-16-C-2266, -2267, -2268, and -2269.
