This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (synopsitation) for a commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6. The U.S. Government (AFLCMC/WLI) intends to procure Computerized Aircraft Maintenance Program (CAMP) software subscription “renewals” for four (4) C-208 aircraft located in the countries of Cameroon and Chad. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, CAMP Systems International, Inc., in accordance with FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) for our international customers who requested this urgent acquisition. The CAMP provides maintenance tracking, engine health monitoring and other data used to ensure the aircraft is properly maintained. Three of the four subscriptions have expired and there is a gap in coverage. Without the software subscriptions, the aircrafts’ airworthiness cannot be certified so US personnel cannot fly in those aircraft and operational training cannot be scheduled until the CAMP software is available. Therefore, the continued expiration of the CAMP subscriptions threatens the success of Peace Keeping Operations (PKOs), Overseas Contingency Operations (OCOs) and Africa Regional Counter Terrorism efforts. Details can be found in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and Request for Proposal (RFP). This notice is being published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any proposals received by the response date specified will be considered by the Government. The determination to not compete this proposed contract is at the sole discretion of the Government. The planned purchase order number is FA8625-20-P-2029 and the NAICS code is 541511.
