The Department of the Air Force’s (DAF), Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), in support of the Tanker Recapitalization Program Office (AFLCMC/WLQ), is seeking information from interested companies with the capability to deliver commercial derivative air refueling systems. The DAF’s goal is for the Tanker Recapitalization Program to replace aging KC-135 air refueling aircraft with an improved operational tanker which meets the attached draft “System Requirements Document (SRD) for the KC-135 Replacement Aircraft System.” This program is envisioned to deliver uninterrupted tanker recapitalization following KC-46A.
