The over-arching strategy of the CSO involves the use of a closed, one step CSO which spans the critical innovative technologies needed by the Mobility and Training Aircraft (MATAC) Directorate to improve the sustainment of new and mature aircraft which must remain in service for the next 10 to 45 years. The Program Executive Officer (PEO) of the MATAC directorate will be conducting a Virtual Pitch Day in 2021 (estimated 23-27 August 2021-TBD) as a method to review innovative technologies and prototypes across several broad focus areas within the MATAC Directorate. MATAC desires to identify leading edge technology that can simplify and reduce the cost of sustaining new and mature MATAC aircraft. The two topics are (1) Remote Inspection Tools Suite and (2) Non-Destructive Testing of Installed Aircraft Components or Surfaces.
