Request for Information (RFI) / Sources Sought Notice Product Support and Sustainment Integration for Air Base Air Defense for Missile Defense (ABAD MD) System
The Department of the Air Force is seeking industry input for the sustainment and modernization of the Air Base Air Defense for Missile Defense (ABAD MD) system, which is currently deployed in active defense postures. The contractor would assume full sustainment operations, including 24/7/365 product support hubs, help desk operations, and field service representatives at active sites across CONUS and OCONUS. The government aims to replace proprietary Lockheed Martin software components with open-standard, non-proprietary software over a 12-to-24-month period, while maintaining uninterrupted operational readiness and cybersecurity. The government will provide system interface documents, hardware baselines, and test-beds to support the transition. Interested parties must demonstrate capabilities in open systems architecture migration, cybersecurity, global field support, and the ability to staff personnel with Top Secret/SCI clearances.
