This is a Request for Information; THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION ANNOUNCEMENT. It is published for informational and planning purposes only and not as a request for competitive quotations, therefore, no solicitation document exists for this requirement. The Air Force, AFLCMC/ROU, is interested in compiling a multi-vendor listing of combat boots that meet both the Air Force Dress and appearance requirements outlined in AFI36-2903 and Berry Amendment (10U.S.C 2533a) criteria. The purpose of the listing is to provide Air Force personnel a listing of manufacturer/vendor self-certified, Berry compliant combat boots that meet dress and appearance requirements. The listing from all respondents is intended to be uploaded to an Air Force website available to all airmen. The listing will also be shared the Army and Navy footwear points of contact allowing them to use it how they would like. Responding boot manufacturers will either use the table format shown in the cover sheet, or by utilizeing attachment 1, to list their boots. Additionally, responding manufacturers should submit with a signed company letterhead memo stating (self-certifying) the combat boots in the attached boot listing meets both Air Force Dress and Appearance and Berry Compliant requirements. Failure to comply with the above may result in responding manufactorer's to be left off the future listing of this information.
