National Packaging Services Corporation (The Contractor), Green Bay, Wisconsin, has been awarded a not-to-exceed (NTE) $2,750,000.00 Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) Undefinitized Contract Action (UCA), for its expansion of Meltblown Filtration Media capacity used in N95 respirators and ASTM level 1-3 masks. The contract provides for the expediting and expanding of domestic production of Meltblown Filtration Media and is authorized under the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act. The location of performance is Green Bay, Wisconsin. The work is expected to be complete by 24 October 2021. This award is the result of a sole source acquisition (FAR 6.302-2 Justification attached). Fiscal year 2020 procurement funds in the amount of $1,574,171.00 have been obligated prior to contract definitization. This contract action was issued as an Interagency Acquisition (Economy Act); the requesting agency is the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) and the servicing agency is the United States Air Force (USAF). The Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Agile Combat Support Directorate, Human Systems Division (AFLCMC/WNUK) is the contracting activity (Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, FA8606-20-C-0024).
