The trailer requires a coupled screw jack system, which consists of one "left" / "right" pair of 5- ton, stainless steel screw jacks, to enable landing gear retraction at the trip origin and landing gear extension at the destination. The jack screw is an open market item, made-to-order and configured for the trailer. Likewise, the trailer has been designed to interface with this specific screw jack.
