NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Product description: The ProQuest Books in Print Service includes a bibliographic database for literature research, reader’s advisory, collection development, and to streamline the acquisition processes. Specifically, it provides information on books, ebooks, audio books, and videos and includes titles that are in print, out of print, and forthcoming in all formats. Searches include vendor, ebook platform, and retailer information to assist in acquisitions, professional reviews, award information, annotations, full-text previews, author biographies, cover images, and summaries. The database search functions conduct basic and advance searches. Additionally, the database includes bibliographic information including author, character, and genre searches for similar titles to assist in book discovery and readers advisory, and creates lists to assist bibliographic documents. Product characteristics an equal item must meet to be considered: ?
