This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the synopsis/intent to award sole source. All prospective contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be awarded a DoD contract. Market research was conducted to promote competition to the fullest extent possible but no other commerical entity is capable of providing the required CDMS Software other than S&K. See attached justification for details. OPTION(S) if applicable: N/A All items must be TAA compliant in accordance with the FAR. DPAS rating is DO-A7. Anticipated Award Date is 12 August 2020 Lt Col Sean Tucker has been appointed as Ombudsman. The purpose of the Ombudsman is to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman does not participate in the preparation of solicitations, evaluation of proposals or source selection process and does not diminish the authority of the contracting o?icer.
