In the meantime please note that this will be a MAC IDIQ effort with a 10 year period of performance, small business set aside and a ceiling value of $778M.** The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (hereinafter called “NASIC”) hereby releases the COMET IDIQ Draft RFP. The Performance Work Statements (PWSs) and other associated documents are attached to this announcement. Please read them carefully and in their entirety. The Government reserves the right to amend, alter, or otherwise modify any and all parts of these documents at any time. Please note that all documents are DRAFTS and as such may be modified and/or amended at the Air Force’s discretion prior to final publication of the formal Request for Proposal. Notice to Offerors: This is a Draft RFP and funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this draft solicitation or subsequent formal RFP until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse any offeror for any costs. Slides from the Industry Day held virutally last week, Q&A's will be posted once available. ******************************************* This update is to provide information regarding a virutal industry day that will be held for this effort to help gather additional market research information pertaining to this acquisition. Please see new attachments pertaining to the event and instructions for interested participants. ******************************************** The National Air and Space Intelligence Center (hereinafter called “NASIC”) hereby releases the COMET IDIQ RFI for conducting market research. (This is a follow on effort for the contract previously referred to as N-ITSS.) Accordingly, this RFI constitutes neither a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the COMET IDIQ acquisition nor a guarantee that one will be issued by the Government in the future; furthermore, it does not commit the Government to contract for any services described herein. NASIC is not, at this time, seeking proposals and therefore, will not accept, review, or evaluate unsolicited proposals received in response hereto. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment on the part of the Government to award a contract, nor does the Government intend to pay for any information submitted because of this request. The Government does not reimburse respondents for any costs associated with submission of the information being requested or, reimburse expenses incurred for responses to this RFI. The information provided may be used by NASIC in developing its acquisition strategy and final Performance Work Statement (PWS). Any information submitted by respondents to this RFI is strictly voluntary; however, any information received shall become the property of the Government and will not be returned to the respondent. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary, restricted or competition sensitive information contained in their response. This is a request for information and does not obligate the Government in any way, nor does it commit the Government to any specific course of action.
