Air Force Blood Program Office (AFBPO) does provide some products to maintain supply levels; however, special products and daily inventory levels are not solely be maintained through AFBPO. In addition, blood product and reference transfusion testing are time dependent and MUST have immediate response and/or expedience to treat critical patients (actively bleeding).
