Intent to Sole Source Synopsis for AFIT/ENP Three (3) Fume Hood Repairs: The United States Air Force, AFLCMC/PZIBA, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio 45433-5344 publishes this notice of intent to award a sole source contract for informational purposes only. This proposed action is for the procurement of three (3) fume hood repairs for AFIT/ENP at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. See Attachment 1, Statement of Work. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). And 10 USC 2304(c) (1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-2(b) (1) an unusual and compelling urgency precludes full and open competition This proposed procurement will be a Sole Source under North American Industry Classification System Code NAICS Code: 238220 – Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning Contractors. Business size standard for NAICS 238220 is $16.5 Million Annually. PSC/FSC code: J010- Maintenance/Repair/Rebuild of Equipment The proposed source is Elitaire LLC, located at 11325 Reed Hartman HWY STE 100, Blue Ash, Ohio 45241-2493, United States. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, quotes, or exception to the intent to purchase on a sole source basis, which shall be considered by the Government, if received by Friday, August 19th, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. EST. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. In order to comply with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii), the reason for lack of competition is as follows: The AFIT/ENP requires that Elitaire LLC to repair three (3) fume hoods. Elitaire LLC is the only company capable of providing the service. No other vendors responded to market research. Delivery Schedule: 30 Days ADC Delivery Destination: AFIT/ENP Bldg. 640, Rm 320, 2950 Hobson Way Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433 Delivery Type: FOB Destination (As defined in FAR 2.101 – Definitions, the seller or consignor is responsible for the cost of shipping and risk of loss.) Inspection and Acceptance: Both inspection and acceptance will be by the Government at Destination.
