Amendment 2 (08/04/2021) - The purpose of this amendment is to extend the proposal submission due date and time, the amendmnet extends the proposal due date to 11 August 2021 at 4:00 PM EST. In addition, this amendment attaches two (2) documents. The attachments are "Site Visit Questions & Answers" and "Building 553 AutoCAD Drawing". Lastly, an updated Statement of Work (SOW), dated 3 August 2021 has been attached as a result of the questions asked during the site visit. Amendment 1 (07/29/2021) - The purpose of this amendment is to extend the response date and time for the planned site visit to be held on 2 August 2021 at 10:00 AM EST. RSVP's to attend the site visit must be recieved no later than July 30th 2021 at 4:00 PM EST. COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation (“synopsitation” hereafter), which is expected to result in award of a Firm Fixed Price contract a for commercial item, i.e., AFOSI Furniture as described under the attachment titled “Statement of Work”. The synopsitation is prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is conducted as a commercial item procurement using Simplified Acquisition Procecures (FAR Part 13). An award, if any, will be made to the responsible offeror who submits a proposal that (1) conforms to the requirements of the synopsitation; (2) complies with the minimum requirements stated in the Specifications by providing a complete description of the equipment provided; and (3) that submits the proposal with the lowest total evaluated price (TEP), provided that the TEP is not unbalanced and is determined to be fair and reasonable. The Government reserves the right to award without discussions or make no award at all depending upon (1) the quality of proposals received and (2) whether proposed prices are determined to be fair and reasonable.
