This Sources Sought is solely for information and planning purposes. The intended purpose is to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM/PHE) requirement. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. Furthermore, USAFSAM/PHE is not at this time seeking proposals, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought. Please be advised that all submissions become Government property and will not be returned. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the responding party's expense. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. It is the responsibility of the interested parties to monitor this FedBizOpps website for additional information pertaining to this Sources Sought. Requirement: See: Attachment 1 entitled, "Requirements Document." The Government is in need of reagents/kits to perform Laboratory Diagnostic Testing on Diasorin Liaison for the diagnosis and patient care for infectious diseases and immunization status. Capability Statement: All interested firms shall submit a response demonstrating their capabilities to produce the requested equipment to the primary point of contact listed below. NAICS Code: 325414: Biological Product (Except Diagnostic) Manufacturing Acceptable Means of Submission: All submissions must be submitted electronically to the following email address: joel.sanchez.6@us.af.mil by 01 May 2019, 1:00 PM EST Any correspondence sent via email must contain the subject line, "Laboratory Diagnostic Testing on Diasorin Liaison." This correspondence must be contained in a single email, unless otherwise approved, and must not exceed five megabytes, including attachments. Emails with compressed files will not be accepted. Note that email filters at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base are designed to filter emails without subject lines or with suspicious subject lines or contents (i.e., .exe or .zip files). Therefore, if the specified subject line is not included, the email may not get through the email filters. Also, be advised that .zip or .exe files are not allowable attachments and may be deleted by the email filters at Wright-Patterson. Important Notice to Contractors: Response MUST also contain a complete description of items offered and any technical manuals or literature to clearly show that the items meet or exceed the requirements listed above. The Contracting Officer will review responses based on the factors listed in this Sources Sought and the information furnished by the Respondent. The Government's evaluation of the capability statement received will factor into whether any forthcoming solicitation will be conducted as a full and open competition, a set-aside for small businesses, or any particular small business designation (e.g. SDVOSB, HUBZone, 8(a), SDB, WOSB, VOSB, etc...).
