The NAICS Code is 334516 – Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. The Government (AFLCMC/PZIBB) intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(ii). The proposed source is “Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC”. The service being procured is forty-two (42) months of Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) Maintenance. This notice is being published for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotations received by the response date specified in this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. Quotations should be e-mailed to 2d Lt.
